As a user I want to be able to search through the checklist templates instead of going through several pages of checklist templates when I want to add a template to a page. (With more than 90 records in our instance this would save me time)

I agree. Especially a search in the "Templates" section would be pretty useful. It's not trivial to implement. That's why we've focused on simpler tasks so far ...
