We're excited to introduce Checklist Permissions for Work-Items, a new feature designed to solve a common frustration: users not being able to see checklists they created when viewing work items.
What's New:
We've added a global configuration toggle that allows administrators to override checklist permissions specifically in the work item view. When enabled, any user who can see a Jira work item will automatically be able to see all connected checklists—even if they wouldn't normally have permission.
How It Works:
- Toggle Enabled: Checklist permissions align with Jira work item permissions, ensuring seamless visibility
- Toggle Disabled: Standard checklist permissions continue to apply as before
- Important Note: This override only applies in the work item view. In all other areas, existing permission checks remain in effect, and adhoc checklists remain accessible only to hub admins.
