Enhanced Security for Checklists Portal

checklist-security-atlassian-cloud-confluence-and-jira
We are excited to announce the latest update for Checklists for Atlassian Cloud, which includes enhanced security for the checklists portal. This release includes new features and improvements that protect your data from unauthorized access and ensure the overall security of the software.
New Features
We have implemented an additional layer of security to protect your data by preventing anonymous users from accessing the checklists portal in your Confluence Cloud and Jira Cloud instance, even if they have access to the pages or issues. This feature ensures that your data is protected against unauthorized access and enhances the overall security of the software.
Still powerful for anonymous users
While the added security prevents anonymous users from accessing the checklist portal, individual checklist instances can still be created, filled out, and edited by anonymous users. This means potentially harmful or offensive information can be added to your tenant. To prevent this, we have added the ability to deactivate public checklists. With this feature, only logged-in users can work on checklists, ensuring your data is protected from unauthorized access and inappropriate content.
We are committed to improving the security and usability of Checklists for Atlassian Cloud. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please feel free to contact us.
