Hi Does the menu plug-in can only be allocated for one specific space or does it appear across all spaces. We have over 500+ spaces in confluence ands only need the menu navigation on one specific space. How does this work then as the menu nav would not be applicable to any other space?

Hi Northstar,

this feature is already available in Navigation Menus. This is the way to show a menu in only one specific space:

Create a global menu and set it on not visible.
Create a second menu and name it for example "Marketing Space".
Go to your Marketing space (or any space you want to assign a menu to) and assign it a space category. Let's call the space category "marketing" for example.
Go back into the configuration of Navigation Menus and assign the menu the space category "marketing". The menu now will only appear in spaces with the space category "marketing"
